Jim Hull joined MasterCard Worldwidefs Global Technology and Operations division in April 1999. He currently serves as Group Executive, Global Operations.

Hull and his staff of more than 500 professional and technical personnel are responsible for all aspects of engineering and operation support for MasterCard globally. Examples of his teamfs responsibilities include budget execution, planning, design, engineering, acquisition, installation, 24/7 operations, and performance and tuning. The systems and networks Hull and his staff support include multiple data centers and a network that spans more than 210 countries.

Prior to joining MasterCard, Hull served in the United States Marine Corps, retiring as a Colonel. The majority of his assignments in the Marine Corps were staff and command positions in communications and information systems at locations throughout the world. Hull also was deployed to Saudi Arabia during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm where he served as the principal communications/information systems officer (G-6) for a 12,000 person command.

Hull earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Master of Science degree in Business Administration from Boston University. He is married and has two children.
