Mark Middleton currently serves as the System Director of Information Technology Architecture for CHRISTUS Health, one of the largest Catholic health systems in the country, employing more than 25,000 people with total assets of $4.1 billion. With a mission to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ, CHRISTUS Health comprises over 40 hospitals and long-term care facilities, as well as dozens of other health services in more than 70 communities in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Utah, as well as Monterrey and Saltillo, Mexico.
Mr Middltonfs current role is to provide strategic oversight and direction to consolidate and grow new technology, data centers, networks, server and storage management, identity and access, disaster recovery and security and vulernability management practice into an enteprise architecture. Key initiatives in the past few years have been architecting solutions for mergers and acquisitions, consolidating a mulit-state company into a centrally managed infrastructure, building a 15,000 sq ft data center, and developing a successful ITIL practice methodology.
Mark holds Business and Biomedical degrees and has 20+ years of experience in the clinical engineering, healthcare, and IT environments, and is a Certified ITIL Expert.
He and his wife live in Boerne, Texas and he has two daughters and a son.
