Mr. Siefert joined CMP in June 1995 as an account executive with InformationWeek. After four years and multiple sales and management positions with InformationWeek, he moved into a group position with CMP's Business Technology Group, as the Northwestern Regional Director across Network Computing, InternetWeek and InformationWeek. In June 2000, Siefert transitioned to Western Regional Director of Network Computing, then shortly after became the National Director of the Network Computing Enterprise Architecture Group, managing sales, marketing, events, product development and strategic planning. Siefert became the Publisher of Network Computing in 2005. He managed the Network Computing Group, which included the magazine, the Websites and events.

In June 2007, Siefert was promoted to Vice President and Publisher of InformationWeek. In his current roll, he is responsible for the overall direction of the InformationWeek Business Technology Network including InformationWeek and 7 other leading editorial brands.

Prior to joining CMP, Siefert held multiple account management positions with Winston Advertising and Marketing Communications, where he worked on HDS, Polycom and a host of other enterprise IT accounts. He has a Bachelor of Science in mass communications and business marketing from San Jose State University.
