Gene Viscelli joined King & Spalding as Director, Information Technology in December 2004 and was promoted to the role of Chief Information Officer in 2008.? As CIO, Mr. Viscelli is responsible for the firm's technology infrastructure, assisting in the development of the firm's technology strategy, and for the delivery of technology services and litigation support to King & Spalding offices worldwide.

For the eight years prior to joining King & Spalding Mr. Viscelli was Director of Application Development in the IT department of Delta Air Lines, where he was responsible for the design, development and implementation of distributed applications supporting Delta's Operations Control Center, Flight Operations Division and In-Flight Services Division.

In addition to his career at Delta, Mr. Viscelli has 20 years' experience in information technology and consulting with Rohr Industries in San Diego, Calif., Lockheed-Martin in Marietta, Ga., and Eastern Airlines in Miami, Fla. He also has served as Director, Professional Services for American Software and as a senior management consultant with Deloitte Consulting.

Mr. Viscelli holds a Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master of Science in Management of Technology, both from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
