About the DaCEY Awards

The Data Center Executive of the Year (DaCEY) and Project of the Year Awards honor data center executives and project teams for their outstanding achievement, leadership, innovation and contributions in the Data Center.

The DaCEY Executive of the Year Award

The Data Center Executive of the Year (DaCEY) Award 2008 recognizes the individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in the Data Center industry. Awarded to a CTO, CIO, vice president, director or manager with direct reports, from IT, Data Center or associated departments or an executive in an equivalent position, the DaCEY Award honors executives who demonstrate innovation, vision, leadership and best practices relative to a data center.

The DaCEY Project of the Year Award

A new award this year, recognizes project teams for their outstanding vision, innovation, and leadership in eight categories including Data Center Design, Green Initiatives, Infrastructure Management, Legacy Devices Solutions, Network Operations, Security, Storage and Virtualization.

The DaCEY Awards Program

Nominees and Project Team members for the DaCEY Awards are invited to network with their executive peers and attend the DaCEY Executive Summit and Awards Gala as our complimentary guests.

The DaCEY Executive Summit creates a unique atmosphere for interaction, information exchange and camaraderie among industry peers. The day-long program brings together leading data center executives to participate in dynamic roundtables, gain insight into emerging trends and discuss best practices, challenges, and solutions regarding the data center industry today.

All nominees are encouraged to attend the DaCEY Executive Summit and Awards Gala . Dress Code requires business casual attire for afternoon events and coat and tie for the dinner and awards ceremony.
